1. Put the corkscrew on the middle of the cork that has been removed from the bottle.

    2. Use the door handle at the top of the rotary corkscrew to drill the screw plug clockwise into the inside of the cork. Take care to keep the auger down straight and not necessarily through the cork.

    3. Firmly hold the rotating sleeve of the bottle opener, and twist it in the opposite direction where the auger was drilled, until the bottle cap is completely unscrewed.
